Death Valley

Death Valley National Monument. The hottest, driest climate in North America. Within it's boundaries are the 11,000 foot Telescope Peak and the valley floor which is called Badwater and is the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere.

There are several water tanks alongside the road in case you overheat. The two neatest things about Death Valley are the giant sand dunes and the sign marking below sea level..The elevation here is some 86 meters below sea level.
